The Introduction.

To simplify things, I'm going to stick with a question-and-answer format. (I'm a little lazy today, but it's Friday, so don't judge me people).

1. Why a blog exclusively about fashion?
Um, because I feel like it? That is a dumb question (for anyone who knows me), next question.

2. How did you come up with the title, "The Part-Time Fashionista"?
This is a two-part answer folks, so buckle up. First, the title is because I do actually have a day job that is NOT in fashion(I know, sigh). So, fashion is not always my focus. Second, (and I used to be much worse about this), I have two types of fashion: really cute and pulled together, or really really bad. Like 4x too big sweatpants and a little kid's dallas cowboys jersey bad. But I'm getting better :)

3. So is this blog just for girls, or are you going to post about the manly men in our lives as well? Um, typically men need the most help (not my husband, he has great taste). You know who you are. But it will be primarily for girls - because everyone knows girls are much more fun to shop for!

4. What is your personal style?
I definitely have a fairly distinctive style, and it is...GIRLY!
I love anything with: fur, patent leather, bows, sparkly things, or high heels.

5. What style trends are really not your thing?
I despise: skinny jeans (really, they are so unflattering unless you have the body of a 12-year-old boy), too much hardware on purses, flats (on me, on other people they are adorable. I, however, look like a squatty midget in them), turtlenecks, light wash denim, plaid shirts, mustard yellow (in excess, as an accent it is ok).
